REMOT at ISOKINETIC CONFERENCE 2022

The REMOT Team participated in the XXIXth edition of the International Congress of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Applied to Football organized by the medical group ISOKINETIC, a Bologna-based group that represents a solid healthcare reality at the European level with its eight locations and a healthcare reference point for professional footballers so much so that it is the reference healthcare group in Europe for FIFA (Federation Internation of Football Association).

Isokinetic has always been engaged in scientific research, particularly in the area of biomechanics. It is the ambitious goal of understanding trauma mechanisms or movement dynamics to diagnose better and treat patients.

So the scenario of ISOKINETIC could well accommodate our ideas and project considering that REMOT wants to make an important contribution precisely in the areas of outdoor human movement study and analysis.

Therefore, our team had the opportunity to present the project through a poster and a free communication mediated by Prof. Luis Til Perez (MD Sports Medicine, Orthopedics Managing Director at Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa, Spain) and Prof. Christopher Jones (London Isokinetic Medical Team and member of Isokinetic faculty for International conference, Club Doctor at Charlton Athletic Football Club and remains their COVID medical officer) coordinated by Prof. Davide Susta (Professor at Dublin City University, Specialist in Sport and Exercise Medicine, Consultant to numerous international athletes and Isokinetic for R&D).

Our idea, our vision attracted the interest and attention of the chairmen of the poster area free communications session, the colleagues present with their projects, and many of the audience members who wanted to know how they could use a technology like REMOT for their work and who wanted to share their point of view, their needs as practitioners.

Very interested then researchers in the field and the same staff of researchers from Isokinetic Medical Group who invited the REMOT project team to propose a free communication with the results of the tests that we will produce given the next edition of the congress to be held in May 2023 in London.
